Our 2009, Fair is building on the success of our 2008, fair-- successful in participation, attendance, satisfaction, and revenue. Our 2009 theme is, "Excitement in the Air at the Northeast Florida Fair!"
     Excitement is the attitude of the fair trustees and volunteers as we arrange for more entertainment, rent a larger tent, purchase more picnic tables, and complete improvements of the facilities. We want your meetin' and greetin' to be pleasant.
     The NEFF is a state agricultural fair and the trustees take price in providing an arena for 4-H and FFA Youth to showcase their projects and expertise in handling livestock. Agricultural interactive exhibits will show fair visitors how our food is produced. Visit the Women's Building and barns to congratulate the youth on their projects, accomplishments, and leadership abilities.
     We also provide a forum for adults and youth not in 4-H or FFA to compete for prize money showing their talent, handiwork, and green thumbs. Refer to the categories and rules sections of this book.
     Our board of trustees is dedicated to serving Nassau County, We invite the city and county officials to visit and participate in our fair. Check the 2009 schedule of events for daily activities, entertainment times, and gate and midway specials. Trustees and volunteers will wear NEFF shirts during the fair and are willing to assist you while on the grounds.
     We trustees and volunteers want our excitement to be contagious to our guest! Plan your "STAYCATION" at the fair-- We aren't as big as Disneyworld but we are more exciting than a church picnic.
